Herbal Infusion from the South Tyrolean Herb Rebels
The South Tyrolean Herb Rebels, Lorenz and Leander, and their herbal teas stand unequivocally for the highest quality. With loving handcraft, the two certified herbal farmers harvest blossoms, herbs, and spices "at the balsamic moment" – that is, when the plants, slowly grown in pure mountain air, contain the most active ingredients – in the middle of the South Tyrolean Alps, at an altitude of 1350 m. This special quality can be seen, smelled, and tasted. The Herb Rebels have already developed seven different herbal infusion blends. Their herbal infusions with intense aromas and wonderful colors, such as "Bergdoktor" or "Südtiroler Blütenduft," are available in beautiful tea tins or in tea bags made from corn starch.
Herb Rebels – Herbs from the Mountains of South Tyrol
The hand-picked herbs for the herbal infusion come from the realm of edelweiss in Vinschgau, the impressive glacier worlds of the Ortler, and from the Stelvio National Park. The herbs grow in the mountains at 900-1400m, are hand-picked, gently dried, and hand-packed in cooperation with Lebenshilfe. The blends contain delicious mountain herbs and blossoms such as lemon balm, lemon verbena, peppermint, spearmint, apple mint, ribwort plantain, cornflower, marigold, mallow, elderflower, thyme, musk yarrow, and strawberry leaves.
